My name is Cece Short, and my name is just like my height.
I used to have a dream that I shared with very few people: to travel the world and buy beads to make jewelry for others to wear. So far the travelling the world part has yet to come true; however, the latter part of that dream has started to become a reality in the last few years since I began selling the jewelry that I have made.
While I work to pursue my beaded dreams, I’m also working to achieve another dream, or calling I should say. I will soon be embarking on my final year as an undergraduate student at Hope College in the town of Holland, Michigan, where I will be getting my degree in Psychology and Youth Ministry (another one of my passions). While not in the Great Lake State, I reside in Evanston, Illinois, the suburb just north of Chicago where I was born and raised. I share a home with my mother, Cindy, who began beading first and helped me to get started making my own jewelry when I was just 10. I am the youngest of four, and all of my siblings are married and long out of the house.
I am on the cusp of a great adventure and I don’t know where God will lead me next. Thankfully, beads are small and easy to carry.
My work can be seen on my Etsy shop at, http://www.etsy.com/shop/WornWisdom. Look, shop, enjoy.
